Spotlight New Orleans with John Calhoun is a late night talk show similar in format to The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. It is important because it puts a spotlight on New Orleans talent and culture while also giving a platform for activists, community heroes and others doing relevant work in New Orleans.

The program provides a common ground for the many diverse elements of our community. It receives generous support from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival Foundation, Doerr Furniture, Mark’s Mufflers, Bywater Bakery and other businesses and individuals.  It is also supported in part by a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Arts Council of New Orleans.
